Phil Jagers, Men's Track and Field
AKRON, Ohio - Senior Phil Jagers (Solon, Ohio) was named the Zips' Student Athlete of the Week, presented by the University of Akron, on Monday, March 27.
Jagers unleashed a throw of 203-6 (62.04m) to claim the triumph in the men's discus at the Roadrunners Invitational on Saturday, March 25.
His effort represented the No. 1 throw in the NCAA this season. Additionally, he placed fourth in the hammer (180-9/55.09m) on Friday, March 24.
