Reagan Bass is in the midst of a dominant campaign for the Zips this season as she is one of four players in NCAA Division I women's basketball to average 19.0 points and 11.5 rebounds per games and comes into action against Kent State recording 19.1 points and 11.7 rebounds per outing. Her 10 doubles-doubles rank 13th nationally. She has posted a double-double in four of Akron's five league games this season.

The 2022-23 WBCA Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll was announced by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association, and the Akron women's basketball team earned special mention nods for having a 3.503 overall team GPA for the 2022-23 academic year.

The WBCA Academic Top 25 recognizes NCAA Division I, II and III, NAIA and two-year college women's basketball teams across the nation that carry the highest combined GPAs inclusive of all student-athletes on their rosters for the entire season.
