Akron's Callaway and McGuff Garner CSC Academic All-District WBB Accolades

AKRON, Ohio – The 2025-26 Academic All-District® women's basketball team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognized a pair of University of Akron women's basketball players in junior Keiryn McGuff (Dublin, Ohio) and sophomore Izzy Callaway (Copley, Ohio) for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender. Institutions are limited to four nominees per gender for the sport of basketball with each qualifying nominee being selected to the all-district squad.
To be nominated, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at his/her current institution. Student-athletes must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games/contests/sets played OR must start in at least 66 percent of the games/contests/sets.
