LAST TIME OUT
The Zips fell to 7-6 overall and 4-3 MAC after the Zips fell to NIU, 79-67 on Monday night. The Zips had four players score in double-figures with Jordyn Dawson (Huntington, W Va.) leading the way with her sixth double-double of the season with 19 points and 11 rebounds. Dawson also added four assists and three steals. Lonasia Brewer (Akron, Ohio) scored a season-high 16 points on 7-of-12 shooting, while Reagan Bass (Strongsville, Ohio) and Layne Ferrell (Franklin, Ohio) finished with 14 and 11 points.
A 9-2 run by the Huskies, including seven points in 11 seconds, extended the Huskies lead to 66-57 within the first three minutes of the final quarter. Bass hit a three-pointer and a layup that sparked the Zips' offense and closed NIU's lead to 66-61 with under five to play. NIU would end the fourth quarter on a 11-2 run that put the game out of reach for the Zips, as the Huskies secured the 79-67 victory.

SCOUTING EMU
The Eagles, stand 4-10 overall and 1-6 in conference play under the direction of 6th-year head coach Fred Castro after a 71-60 loss against Bowling Green on Monday night. Redshirt senior guard Areanna Combs led the Eagles (4-10, 1-6 MAC) with 21 points and a pair of assists. Redshirt sophomore forward Ce'Nara Skanes added nine points while redshirt senior Danielle Rainey chipped in with eight points of her own to go along with two assists.

EMU is averaging 70.3 points per game on 42.5 percent shooting (356-837) from the floor and 91-of-273 shooting (33.0 percent) from long range. The Eagles have a trio of players averaging in double-figures. Combs leads the Eagles in scoring at 16.9 points per game. Rainey is averaging 13.6, while Skanes is averaging 12.0 points per game.

Defensively, the Eagles have held their opponents to 71.4 points per game on 43.1percent shooting from the floor and 38.4 percent from beyond the arc.
