AKRON, Ohio - In the opening round of the Mid-American Conference Tournament, the University of Akron women's basketball team parlayed a 20-0 run to erase a nine-point, third-quarter deficit en route to defeating Miami University (9-21) by a final score of 66-54 on Monday, March 7, at James A.
