AKRON, Ohio – The University of Akron lacrosse team dropped a 14-7 non-conference decision to Lindenwood on Wednesday (March 6) at InfoCision Stadium-Summa Field.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• Seniors Noelle Boyd (Murrysville, Pa.) and Anjali Silverheels (Hamburg, N.Y.) along with freshman Sienna Hinchcliffe (Rochester, N.Y.) directed Akron's offensive attack with two goals apiece, while sophomore Macy Vail (Joppatowne, Md.) rounded out the Zips' scoring efforts with a goal.
• Junior Jaelyn Clinkscales (Rochester, N.Y.) earned a game-high two assists in the affair, while senior Jacqueline Glassey (Kildeer, Ill.) and Boyd were each credited with an assist.
• Hinchcliffe and sophomore Kellen Fletcher (Valenica, Pa.) registered four and three shots, respectively, for the Zips.
• Boyd added a team-best three draw controls, while junior Bryanne Harner (Friendswood, Texas) and junior goalkeeper Hannah Sanders (Massillon, Ohio) both pulled in two ground balls.
• Sanders and sophomore goalkeeper Kylan Rhude (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) combined to notch eight saves in the match.
