14 Zips Garner Academic All-MAC Lacrosse Honors

2026 MID-AMERICAN CONFERENCE ACADEMIC ALL-MAC RELEASE
CLEVELAND, Ohio – The University of Akron lacrosse team earned 14 selections when the Mid-American Conference released its 2026 Academic All-MAC Lacrosse team this week.
In all, 114 student-athletes from eight conference institutions were honored including seniors Katie Baumer (Rochester, N.Y.), Sarah Baumer (Rochester, N.Y.), Heather Carey (Williamsville, N.Y.), Dani Dahl (Fairfax, Va,.) and Kellen Fletcher (Valencia, Pa.), redshirt junior Camryn Kwiatkowski (Pittsburgh, Pa.), juniors Grace Hardy (Oshawa, Ontario), Sienna Hinchcliffe (Rochester, N.Y.), Kacey Hopkins (Riva, Md.) and Kaitlyn Sikorski (Plymouth, Minn.), redshirt sophomore Hannah McGuire (Ormond Beach, Fla.), sophomores Julia Mattingly (Leonardtown, Md.) and Megan Singer (Hamburg, N.Y.) and redshirt freshman Adrianna Califano (Bellmore, N.Y.).
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport and have been at residence at their school for one year. True freshman and first-year transfer student-athletes are not eligible.
