AKRON, Ohio - The University of Akron women's soccer team fell, 2-0, at home to Boston College on Sunday (Sept. 3) at FirstEnergy Stadium.
How it Happened
Akron and Boston College were scoreless in the first half before the Eagles connected on two second-half goals. Freshman GK Sara Bower (Cincinnati, Ohio) led Akron with three saves. The Zips registered nine shots in the loss, three of them on goal. Akron faced 11 Boston College shots, five of them on goal.
