AKRON, Ohio - The University of Akron women's soccer team came up short against Robert Morris, 3-0, on Thursday (Aug. 24) at FirstEnergy Stadium.
Akron dropped to 1-2-0 overall following the setback.
How it Happened
Akron kept Robert Morris scoreless in the first half before allowing three goals the rest of the way. Freshman GK Sara Bower (Cincinnati, Ohio) led Akron with two saves. The Zips totaled 18 shots in the loss, four of them on goal. Akron faced 14 Robert Morris shots, five of them on goal.
