Akron's offensive efforts were led by freshman Emma King (Akron, Ohio) who registered three shots and scoring the Zips' lone goal. SCOUTING EASTERN KENTUCKY
Eastern Kentucky stands 1-2 overall after falling to Kentucky 4-0 on Sunday. EKU and Kentucky were in stride the first 15 minutes of the contest, Senior Audrey Anderson attempted the first and only shot of the match for EKU, finding the gloves of UK keeper Tallulah Miller (5'). The Colonels used 27 student-athletes in today's contest, 16 of those came off the bench keeping EKU fresh on its half of the field. The tactic proved fruitful as EKU prevented UK from scoring in the second half, limiting their shot attempts by 40 percent from the previous period.

Senior Audre Anderson is two shots shy of 100 for her career. Myla Sharpless ranks second in the ASUN in goals (2), goals per game (0.67), and third in points per game (1.33). Sharpless and Celia Lopez lead the Colonels with five shots each on the season.
ALL-TIME SERIES
Friday's match will be the fourth meeting between the two teams with Akron leading the series, 2-1. EKU claimed the last matchup in the series, defeating the Zips by a score of 2-1 in OT back in 2019.
