Akron Women's Soccer Announces Talented 2026 Signing Class

2026 AKRON WOMEN'S SOCCER SPRING ROSTER
AKRON, Ohio - The University of Akron women's soccer squad under the leadership of second-year head coach Maggie Kuhn, has added a talented four-member newcomer class that will hit the pitch for the Zips during the 2026 campaign.
Donning the Akron uniform this spring will be Callee DalBon (Bethel Park, Pa.), Emma Ogdahl (Perrysburg, Ohio), Ashley Preston (Westfield, Ind.) and Hattie Yugovich (Mansfield, Ohio).

The quartet will join five newcomers who joined the Akron squad for the start of the spring semester in Chloe Bryant (Mesquite, Texas), Hadley Hendrickson (Wildwood, Mo.), Reece Paget (Lanoka Harbor, N.J.), Tara Savage (Placentia, Calif.) and Tewabech Seerup (Portage, Ind.).
"We can't wait to get our 2026 class to campus!" said Kuhn. "Callee (DalBon), Emma (Ogdahl), Ashley (Preston), and Hattie (Yugovich) will immediately impact our team both on and off the field. Â They not only excel in the classroom but also have shown tremendous growth and success at the high school and club levels. With the addition of these four first-years to the five newcomers that we brought in at midyear, we have high expectations that this talented group will help us improve where we left off last fall! Our coaching staff have had a lot of opportunities to get to know them and their families throughout this process, and there is no doubt we are adding high-character humans to our ZIPS family!"
A native of Bethel Park, Pa., DalBon, a midfielder, was a three-year letterwinner at Bethel Park High School where she finished her prep career recording 30 goals en route to leading her squad to a 30-18-4 ledger over her three campaigns. She played with her Beading SC GA squad during her senior season. She helped spark her team to state quarterfinal appearances in 3A as junior and 4A as freshman in 2024 and 2022, respectively. A two-time All-WPIAL selection and three-time All-Section honoree, DalBon garnered Big 56 Second-Team accolades as a sophomore, while pulling in Honorable Mention laurels as a freshman. Additionally, she was named to the Avonworth Tournament Select 11 squad as a sophomore and junior. She gained valuable playing experience with Beading SC GA and is a three-star recruit in the 2025 recruiting class according to TopDrawerSoccer.com she is also rated as the No. 20 player in Pennsylvania.
A native of Perrysburg, Ohio, Ogdahl, a forward, was a four-year letterwinner at Perrysburg High School where she finished her prep career recording 72 goals, while adding 42 assists en route to being named a High School All-America honoree by United Soccer Coaches. A three-time First-Team All-State and All-Region honoree, and four-time All-Conference selection, Ogdahl garnered First-Team All-State, All-District and All-Conference honors as a senior and was tabbed the District Player of the Year on the strength of netting 19 goals and 11 assists. She helped direct her squad to a pair of state semifinal appearances as a junior and senior in addition winning a trio of conference titles and a pair of regional championships during her prep career. She tallied 21, 25 and seven goals, respectively, as a junior, sophomore and freshman, to go along with 10, 11 and 10 assists over the same span. Ogdahl gained valuable club playing experience with Cleveland Force SC ECNL, including earning all-conference accolades in 2025. A three-star recruit in the 2025 recruiting class according to TopDrawerSoccer.com, Ogdahl is also rated as the No. 48 player in the Midwest Region.

A native of Westfield, Ind., Preston, a defender, was a four-year letterwinner at Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School where she finished her prep career netting 23 goals and six assists en route to leading her squad to a 43-23-12 record. As a senior, she registered 17 goals and six assists to garner Honorable Mention All-State, First-Team All-District, All-County and All-Conference accolades and was selected to compete in the Indiana All-Star game in 2025. Her team advanced to the state semifinals during her junior campaign after winning sectional and regional titles. Preston sparked her team to Marion County and Circle City Conference championships during her freshman and sophomore campaign, respectively. She gained valuable club playing experience with Indy Eleven Academy ECNL, where her club advanced to the ECNL Final Four in 2024. Preston is a three-star recruit in the 2025 recruiting class according to TopDrawerSoccer.com.

A native of Mansfield, Ohio, Yugovich, a midfielder, was a four-year letterwinner at Ontario High School where she finished her prep career registering 130 goals and 75 assists en route to being named a High School All-America honoree by United Soccer Coaches. A four-time First-Team All-State, All-Conference and District Player of the year, Yugovich earned an invitation to compete at the 12th Annual High School All-American Game this past December in Charleston, S.C. As a senior, she directed her team to a regional final appearance after capturing district and conference titles. Her squad won district championships during her final two campaigns, while claiming a trio of league titles as freshman, sophomore and senior, respectively. Yugovich gained valuable club playing experience with Internationals SC ECNL and is a three-star recruit in the 2025 recruiting class according to TopDrawerSoccer.com.
