Akron Women's Soccer Announces Talented Spring Newcomer Class

2026 AKRON WOMEN'S SOCCER SPRING ROSTER
AKRON, Ohio - The University of Akron women's soccer squad under the leadership of second-year head coach Maggie Kuhn, has added five newcomers that will hit the pitch for the Zips during the 2026 spring campaign.
Donning the Akron uniform this spring will be Chloe Bryant (Mesquite, Texas), Hadley Hendrickson (Wildwood, Mo.), Reece Paget (Lanoka Harbor, N.J.), Tara Savage (Placentia, Calif.) and Tewabech Seerup (Portage, Ind.).
"Josh (Kay), Nate (Rausch), and I could not be more excited to have Chloe, Hadley, Reece, Tara, Tewabech and their families join our Zips family," said Kuhn. "It became evident throughout the recruiting process that these five would not only add a tremendous amount of experience and talent to our program but also make our already great culture stronger! We are truly excited about the future of our program! This newcomer class will complement a returning group of players that made many positive strides this fall. Mixed in with a competitive spring schedule, all the ingredients are there to help us continue to move the needle forward for our program! We cannot wait to see the amount of individual and team growth we accomplish this spring!"
A native of Mesquite, Texas, Bryant, a forward/defender comes to Akron after playing her freshman campaign at Grambling (SWAC). Appearing in 23 games for the Tigers this past season, including 21 starts, she registered four goals and six assists for 14 points on the strength of 29 shots, including 14 on goal. Bryant helped the Tigers capture the 2025 Southwestern Athletic Conference regular and postseason titles. She gained valuable playing experience with Sting Dallas Black ECNL and was a three-star recruit in the 2025 recruiting class according to TopDrawerSoccer.com.
A native of Wildwood, Mo., Hendrickson, a defender, comes to Akron after being a member of the women's soccer team at Eastern Illinois (OVC) the past two seasons. Playing in three matches for the Panthers this past fall and appearing in 16 career contests she registered five shots, including four on net. Hendrickson gained valuable club playing experience with Missouri Rush ECNL RL helping her squad to a pair of State Cup titles.

A native of Lanoka Harbor, N.J., Paget, a midfielder/forward comes to Akron after playing at Seton Hall (BIG EAST) as a freshman last season. Appearing in 18 games, including seven starts as a freshman, she recorded an assist on the strength of nine shots, with three on goal. Paget gained valuable club playing experience with PDA North ECNL.

A native of Placentia, Calif., Savage, a defender, comes to Akron after being a member of the women's soccer squad at Chicago State (WAC) the past two campaigns. Playing in 21 matches, including 18 starts for the Cougars this past fall, she appeared in 33 career contests, recording 21 starts, one goal, 10 shots, including four on goal. Savage gained valuable club playing experience with Strikers FC North E64.

A native of Portage, Ind., Seerup, a defender, comes to Akron after being a member of the women's soccer team at DePaul (BIG EAST) the past two seasons. Appearing in 15 games over her two campaigns with the Blue Demons, she played in 14 contests as a sophomore, earning a pair of starts. She registered one goal on eight shots, with four on goal, this past season. Seerup played with the Indy Eleven Academy ECNL and was a three-star recruit in the 2024 recruiting class according to TopDrawerSoccer.com.
