Zips Match Against Eastern Kentucky Declared No-Contest

RICHMOND, Ky.- After being suspended at halftime due to inclement weather, the Akron women's soccer match at Eastern Kentucky has been declared a "no-contest" on Friday evening.

The match was declared a no-contest since play had not reached the 70-minute threshold needed to decide a contest in accordance with NCAA soccer rules.

The Zips will be back in action on Thurs. Sept. 8 as Akron will host Niagara at FirstEnergy Stadium for a 7 p.m. start.
