Zips to Face Kent State and Toledo in Midweek Makeup Games

AKRON, Ohio- The Akron Zips softball team (17-26, 12-10 MAC) will have a busy week as the Zips will travel to Kent State on Tuesday, April 26 for a 3 p.m. game, before hosting Toledo on Wednesday, April 27 at 3 p.m.

A Crystal Clinic Wagon Wheel Challenge point will be on the line for Tuesday's game at Kent State. The two teams split a doubleheader back on March 25, but were unable to play the series finale the following day.

The Zips and Rockets met back on April 10 as Akron swept the doubleheader with a 6-5 and 11-8 victory.
