Zips Travel to Bowling Green for Weekend Series

AKRON, Ohio- The Akron Zips softball team (16-24, 11-8 MAC) will hit the road this weekend and travel to Bowling Green for a weekend series. The series kicks off with a doubleheader on Saturday, April 23 with the first game starting at 1 p.m. The series will close on Sunday, April 24 with a noon first pitch.

The Zips stand 16-24 overall and 11-8 in MAC play after claiming their second conference sweep of the season over Buffalo earlier in the week. Akron opened the series with a 6-5 comeback victory, followed by a 4-0 and 13-9 victory.
