AKRON, Ohio - The University of Akron women's basketball team has announced a 7 p.m. game time for the Zips' Women's National Invitation (WNIT) Tournament showdown versus Bucknell at James A. Rhodes Arena on Thursday, March 17.
Tickets will go on sale for the contest on Wednesday, March 16 at 9 a.m. on gozips.com/tickets, Ticketmaster.com, by phone at 1-888-99-AKRON (25766), or visiting the C.P. and Cornelia S. Chima Athletics Ticket Office at InfoCision Stadium – Summa Field (located at 375 E. Exchange Street, near Gate 1 at the southwest corner of the venue, at the corner of E. Exchange and S. Union streets) Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Ticket prices are $6 and $20 for a family four pack (2 adults/2 youth). Valid Akron students are FREE with a Zip Card. Their zip card can be used for entrance.
Floor season ticket holders can request their same floor seats for $6 by calling our ticket office or coming to the ticket office after 9 a.m. on Wednesday. All orders over the phone will be left at will call and will be available starting at 5 p.m. on Thursday.
The JAR ticket office will open up for sales/will call starting at 5 p.m. on Thursday.
