Akron Golf to Play Butler Fall Invitational

Akron, Ohio. – The Akron women's golf team enters the third Fall tournament,, The Butler Fall Invitational Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 29-30 at Highland Golf Club in Indianapolis, Ind. hosted by Butler.
The Course
Highland Country Club (1050 52nd St., Indianapolis, IN 46228) is a Par 70 course that spans 6,040 yards
hosts 54 holes will be played on the Penn State Blue Course Par: 72 Yardage: 6,363 yards
Tournament Format
The two-day, 54-hole tournament is scheduled for 36 holes of continuous play with a 9 a.m. shotgun start on Sunday, (Sept. 21) followed by the final 18-hole round 8:30 a.m. shotgun start on Monday (Sept. 22). Fans can follow the action live via Scoreboard Live Scoring.

The Field (14 Teams)
The field consists of 14 teams including, Butler, Akron, Bellarmine, Belmont, Dayton, Green Bay, Indiana State, Lindenwood, Loyola Chicago, Marian (Ind.), Marshall, Northern Kentucky, Southern Indiana, and UIC.
Akron Lineup (6)
The Zips scoring five consists of Maisarah Hezri (1), Sohniya Chandra Mohan (2), Hridhika Vora (3), Emily Liptak (4) and Goethe Na Songkhla (5). In addition, Kaitlin Kormuth will compete as an individual for the Zips. Monday's shotgun start tee times are at 9 a.m. with Akron starting on holes 4-7: Hezri (4), Chandra Mohan (5B), Vora (5A), Liptak (6), Na Songkhla (7B) and Kormuth (7A)
