AKRON, Ohio - The 11th-ranked University of Akron rifle team closes out is regular season campaign traveling to Morehead, Ky., for a showdown with No. 17 Morehead State on Saturday (Feb. 8).

The Zips will battle the Eagles in an 8 a.m. match with Akron

Scheduled to compete for Akron are seniors Rachel Engels (Meridian, Idaho), Joey Hahn (Middle Grove, N.Y.) and Alexis Kirk (Clarence Center, N.Y.), sophomore Elizabeth Lilly (Marble Falls, Texas), junior Rachael Paddock (Perry, N.Y.), redshirt seniors Gavin Perkowski (Bolivar, Ohio) and Erin Schnupp (Gorham, Maine), junior Natalia Siek (Flemington, N.J.) and senior Cory Stroupe (Brasstown, N.C.).

Akron opens its postseason campaign hosting Mount Aloysius College in an NCAA Qualifier on Feb. 22.
