COLUMBUS, Ohio – University of Akron lacrosse sophomore Sienna Hinchcliffe (Rochester, N.Y.) netted a pair of goals and an assist, but the Zips were unable to overcome No. 20 Ohio State in a 13-4 setback on Wednesday (Feb. 26).

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• Adding a goal apiece for Akron was redshirt senior Noelle Boyd (Murrysville, Pa.) and Kellen Fletcher (Valencia, Pa.).
• Junior Heather Carey (Williamsville, N.Y.) and Hinchcliffe each recorded an assist in the match for the Zips.
• Hinchcliffe posted a team-high seven shots, including five on goal, while Boyd and Fletcher added three shots apiece.
• Junior Katie Baumer (Rochester, N.Y.) garnered seven draw controls, while redshirt senior Antonia Trickett (Cleveland, Ohio) netted two caused turnovers.
• Senior goalkeeper Hannah Sanders (Massillon, Ohio) recorded five saves in net for Akron.
