AKRON, Ohio - The 11th-ranked University of Akron rifle team will open the second half of its campaign welcoming No. 15 Morehead State to the Robert A. Pinn Shooting Range at Schrank Hall South on Saturday (Jan. 20) for an 9 a.m. match.

The Zips were also scheduled to host No. 6 Ole Miss this weekend but travel considerations due to weather will see the Rebels now visit Akron on Feb. 10.

Senior Gavin Perkowski (Bolivar, Ohio) leads the Zips this season posting team-best averages of 1178.90, 596.10 and 582.80, respectively, in the combined, air and smallbore rifles.
