SAN MARCOS, Texas – The University of Akron men's and women's track and field team collected six top-12 performances to highlight final-day action at the Bobcat Invitational hosted by Texas State on Saturday, April 1.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• Senior Amya Clarke (Christ Church, St. Kitts and Nevis) placed fifth in the women's 100 meters in a time of 11.77.
• Junior Dimitrije Novakovic (Belgrade, Serbia) finished fifth in the men's triple jump with a mark of 47-7.75 (14.52m)
• Redshirt junior Jabari Neal-Jackson (Cincinnati, Ohio) and redshirt sophomore William Gross (Newfane, N.Y.) added marks of 200-9 (61.20m) and 195-10 (59.69m) in the men's hammer.
• The men's 4x100 relay team of junior Haruki Sakai (Katori, Japan), redshirt senior Quentin Woodall (Cleveland, Ohio), senior Charles Sanders (Cincinnati, Ohio) and redshirt sophomore Jimmy Harkelroad (Huron, Ohio) crossed the line in 41.63.
