MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The University of Akron women's tennis team concluded play at the West Virginia's Martha Thorn Invitational on Sunday.

In singles action, UA dropped two matches to Delaware.

Senior Luisa Echeverry (Cali Colombia) fell to Sarah Whited, 6-4, 6-4, while freshman Alexis Steer (Powell, Ohio) dropped a 5-7, 7-6 (8), 10-4 battle to Tayo Adetunji.

Akron concludes the Fall portion of its schedule at the MAC Fall Tournament on Nov. 2-4 at the Evert Academy in Boca Raton, Fla.
