Akron to Play Future Football Games with UAB, Troy

AKRON, Ohio— The University of Akron football team will play a two-game series with the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and with Troy University, Zips Athletics announced on Wednesday.
The Zips and the UAB Blazers will meet at Akron's InfoCision Stadium – Summa Field on Sept. 7, 2019, and on UAB's Legion Field on Sept. 12, 2020.
Akron and UAB have never met on the gridiron.
The Zips and Troy Trojans will meet at Veterans Memorial Stadium (Troy, Ala.) on Sept. 16, 2017. The teams will meet again in 2019 at Akron's InfoCision Stadium – Summa.

The Zips (1-1 overall), under the guidance of fifth-year head coach Terry Bowden, travel to Marshall (1-0 overall) on Sept. 17 for a Noon ET game at Joan C. Edwards Stadium. CBS Sports Network will televise the game live.
Season ticket plans—which include a ticket to all six home games as well as a parking pass— start at only $60 each. Renewals (for current season ticket holders) and new seats are now available for purchase by calling 1-888-99-AKRON (25766) or visiting The C.P. and Cornelia S. Chima Athletics Ticket Office at InfoCision Stadium - Summa Field (located at 375 E. Exchange Street, near Gate 1 at the southwest corner of the venue, at the corner of E. Exchange and S. Union streets) during business hours (Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
Single-game tickets are on sale now for all six games, starting at $15 each.
All-Access 10 Packs, which contain 10 undated vouchers, are available for $100 and can be used for game tickets for any of the ticketed sports.
The Alumni All-Sport Plan, which has season tickets for all six ticketed sports [football, men's soccer, women's soccer, volleyball, men's basketball, and women's basketball] as well as a $20 donation to the Z-Fund, is available for $175.
