Game Times and Broadcast Schedule Released for Opening Three Weeks, Midweek MACtion and Season Finale Games

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference released game times and television broadcast schedule for the first three weeks of the regular season, midweek MACtion games and the regular season finale game as the Akron Zips are 99 days from kicking-off the 2026 season, the league announced on Wednesday (May 27, 2026).
Week 1: Akron is scheduled to open the 2026 campaign on the road against Wake Forest in Winston-Salem, N.C. at Allegacy Federal Credit Union Stadium on Thursday, Sept. 3 at 7 p.m. on the ACC Network.
Week 2: Home Opener at InfoCision Stadium - Summa Health Field as Akron is set to host Robert Morris on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 3:30 p.m. on ESPN+.
Week 3: The Zips travel to B1G opponent Minnesota as the Golden Gophers welcomes the Zips for a Noon kick-off on Saturday, Sept. 19. at Huntington Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minn.
Week 4-9: Game times and TV broadcasts will be announced 12 days prior to the scheduled game. Games will air on ESPN networks (ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU/ESPN+) and CBS Sports Network. (9/26 vs UNLV, 10/3 at Central Michigan, 10/10 - vs Eastern Michigan, 10/17 - at Miami, 10/24 - at Kent State, 10/31 – BYE)
Week 10: Midweek MACtion starts on Tuesday, Nov. 3 as the Akron Zips host the Ohio Bobcats for a 7 p.m. kick-off aired on ESPNU or ESPN2.
Week 11: Zips are back for another home midweek MACtion game on Tuesday, Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. against the Western Michigan Broncos, airing on ESPN2 or ESPNU or CBS Sports Network.
Week 12: The last mid-week MACtion game of the season is on the road as Akron travels to battle Massachusetts on Wednesday, Nov. 18 at 7 or 7:30 p.m. on ESPNU or CBS Sports Network.
Week 13: The Regular Season Finale and Senior Day is on Black Friday as the Akron Zips host the Buffalo Bulls at Noon on Friday, Nov. 27 while airing on ESPNU or CBS Sports Network.

Union streets) Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
