Women's Basketball Invites Kids to Take Over the JAR December 15

AKRON, Ohio -- The University of Akron women's basketball program is offering kids the chance to take over Rhodes Arena and shadow arena personnel on Saturday, Dec. 15 when the Zips host Cincinnati at 2 p.m.
Selected youth (ages 6-12) will have the chance to shadow employees from different areas of the gameday staff during the first half of the contest against the Bearcats. Those youth chosen to participate will have the chance to be the guest public address announcer, band member, cheerleader, videographer, DJ, sound technician, or marketing employee.
Interested youth should fill out the registration form (link below) to be eligible to participate. Priority will be given to Zippy's Kids Club members. To sign up for Zippy's Kids Club, click here. Registration is due by Tuesday, Dec. 11, and winners will be notified on Wednesday, Dec. 12.
Each winner will receive free admission to the game versus Cincinnati and parents may purchase tickets at www.GoZips.com/tickets or by calling 1-888-99-AKRON.
