Saturday Football Youth Clinic Moved Indoors

AKRON, Ohio - Due to Saturday's forecast for inclement weather, the football youth clinic will be moved indoors to the Stile Athletics Field House (located next to InfoCision Stadium - Summa Field). Participants should enter at the Vine Street entrance. The Youth Clinic is scheduled to start at 11 a.m., with registration beginning at the field house at 10 a.m.
Prior to participation a parent or guardian must fill out and sign the Camp/Clinic Emergency Information Card and Release Form. Please print and complete this form and bring it to the Youth Clinic check-in table on Saturday morning. The release form will also be available at check-in.
At 1 p.m., the UA football team will hold its Spring Game presented by Chick-fil-A (Chapel Hill location). The annual scrimmage, which will face the Zips' offense against their defense with a scoring system for each side, is free and also includes Zips Fest.
Activities in Zips Fest will begin at noon and include a face painter, balloon artist, inflatable games and an obstacle course. Additionally, a fire truck - provided by the Akron Fire Department - will be on site for fans to explore and take pictures by as well as an appearance by the Akron ZooMobile, which will include live animal ambassadors from the Akron Zoo and interactive activities for children.
