AKRON, Ohio - The University of Akron football program held its last of 14 practices as part of its spring camp on Friday afternoon at InfoCision Stadium - Summa Field. The team was in helmets, jerseys and shorts for what was the final tune-up for tomorrow's Spring Game presented by Chick-fil-A (Chapel Hill location) scheduled for 1 p.m. ET at the stadium.

In Saturday's intra-squad scrimmage, which serves as the team's 15th allowable team workout date for the spring, the Zips' offense will go against their defense with a scoring system for each side. The event is free to the public and will include a free Youth Clinic and Zips Fest. Due to a forecast of inclement weather during the morning hours, the Youth Clinic will be held inside Stile Athletics Field House (click here for further details).

Six Saturday home games, including a Senior Day showdown against neighborhood rival Kent State on Nov. 12, highlight Akron's 2011 football schedule.
