Football Spring Practice Report #2
March 25 | Football
AKRON, Ohio - The University of Akron football team held a two-hour practice inside Stile Athletics Field House on Friday afternoon, its second workout of spring camp. Similar to Wednesday's session, the squad practiced without pads and the focus of the day was heavily on fundamentals and installation of the playbook.
The Zips face a short turnaround, returning to the practice field on Saturday from 10-noon ET, when the players will be in full pads for the first day of full contact drills.
Friday was the second of 14 practices leading up to the annual Spring Game on Saturday, April 16 at 1 p.m. at InfoCision Stadium - Summa Field.
