August 13 | Football
AKRON, Ohio - The University of Akron football team held its 11th practice of preseason training camp on Friday afternoon at InfoCision Stadium-Summa Field on the UA campus. The players were in full pads for a day that focused heavily on red zone strategy.
"I thought I would get practice going lively today," first-year UA head coach Rob Ianello said. "So I started out right after stretch with a live goal line period. First and goal on the three (yard line), with the first (string) offense versus the first defense."
