Akron 2010 Season Football Tickets Available

AKRON - With the release of the 2010 University of Akron football schedule, the Zips Department of Athletics is pleased to announce its season football tickets are available for renewal with the great news being no price increase, a new price structure for club seats and limited number of loge boxes being available.
Season ticket holders from 2009 should be receiving a letter in the mail within a week with instructions on how to renew your seats for the 2010 season. While there are many incentives for renewing your season tickets by June 15, 2010, there are several GREAT reasons to do so before April 9, 2010.
If you were not a season ticket holder in 2009 and would like to purchase season tickets for 2010, you do not have to wait until June 15. Fans can contact the Athletics Ticket Office (1-888-99-AKRON) to place an order. However, you will not be able to select your seat until after June 15 to give 2009 season ticket holders the opportunity to renew.
The Department of Athletics has added a number of new incentives for season ticket purchasers, including:
- First right of refusal to your seats for the 2011 season.
- Access to the new payment plan that enables you to pay an initial $50 non-refundable deposit for your tickets then have four equal monthly installments.
- Ability to exchange unused tickets through the new "Ticket Swap Program."
- Ability to be put on the priority lists to purchase MAC Championship and bowl game tickets.
- Access to priority parking

- Call the Athletic Ticket Office at 1-888-99-AKRON or visit the UA Athletics Ticket Office website
- Online at www.GoZips.com or visit the UA Athletics Ticket Office renewal website (password needed)
- Mail invoice to the Athletic Ticket Office or fax completed invoice to (330) 972-5527
- Renewal Deadline is June 15 (you may renew after June 15, but your seats may not be available and some incentives may not be available as well)
Early Renewal
Fans that renew by April 9 will be eligible to win the following prices
- Airline vouchers
- Ride for two (2) in the Goodyear Blimp
- Pair of tickets to the Steelers-Browns football game at Cleveland Browns Stadium
- Pair of club tickets for the Akron season opener vs. Syracuse
- 1 of 5 - 32" Flat Screen TV
Winners will be announced at the Spring Football game on April 17 but fans do not need to be present to win.
