as a Junior (2008): Named to the All-Ohio FirstTeam and All-Mid-American Conference Second Team ... that was herfirst all-conference award and she was the fourth player in theprogram’s eight-season history to be named to the all-leagueteam and sixth to earn All-Ohio recognition ... also named to theSoccer Buzz National Elite Team of the Week (SoccerBuzz.com) onAug. 26 (first time an Akron player has earned that distinction),after she was responsible for six points (two goals and twoassists) in the Zips’ 6-2 season-opening victory overPittsburgh (Aug. 22) ... those six points were the second most in amatch in program history (Abby Holzworth recorded seven points[three goals and one assist] in a 6-0 win over Youngstown State onOct. 18, 2002) ... one of three players to start in all 18 matches(senior Giavonna Ferraro and freshmanAdrienne Steckel) ...finished the season as the Zips’ leader in points (20), goals(8), shots (59) and shots on goal (38), and was tied for the leadin assists (4) (sophomore Jordan Baranowski) ... alsotied Baranowski for the team lead in game-winning goals, with two... rounded out the season ranked among the top-three in the MAC inshots, points and goals ... her 59 shots were the most in a singleseason in program history, while her points and assists numberswere the second highest in a single season on the school chart ...scored both goals in a 2-1 victory at Buffalo (Sept. 26) in theopening match of the league schedule ... tallied the game-winninggoal in a 1-0 decision with Toledo (Oct. 3), which provided theZips with their first-ever victory over the Rockets.
as a Sophomore (2007): Played in the first 10matches of the season before being sidelined for the remainder ofthe campaign due to a meniscus injury ... led the team in goals(five), assists (three), points (13) and game-winning goals (3) ...gamewinners tied for most in a single season and fourth most in acareer in program history ... those game-winning scores came inthree-straight games and lifted UA to three-consecutive 1-0victories; at Canisius (Sept. 9), versus Cleveland State (Sept. 14)and at Eastern Kentucky (Sept. 16) ... named MAC Player-of-the-Weekfor the period ending Sept. 17 ... two of her three assists for theyear came in a 3-1 season-opening win over St. Francis (Pa.)
