Laura Moutrey is in her first season as the graduate assistant for women's golf. She joins the Zips staff after completing her collegiate career at Western Michigan.
Moutrey was a four-year letterwinner for the Broncos (2012-15), appearing in 34 career events. She made four appearances in the Mid-American Conference Championships, posting three top-20 performances. For her career, she posted one victory and 16 top-25 finishes.
During her senior campaign, Moutrey posted four top-25 finishes, including a season-best tie for fourth place at the Cardinal Classic. She led the Broncos in scoring as a junior en route to posting six top-25 performances.
Moutrey posted three top-25 finishes as a sophomore and three as a freshman, including a win at the WMU Tri-Match in her first season with the Broncos.
Moutrey, a 2011 graduate of Center Dufferin in Shelburne, Ontario, was a three-sport MVP during her high school career. She earned four MVP honors in golf, was named MVP in basketball as a sophomore and was the team MVP for volleyball as a freshman and junior.
Moutrey is a 2015 graduate of Western Michigan with a degree in exercise science.
