As a Junior (2019): Started all 46 contests as the Zips centerfielder in 2019 … turned in the fourth-best batting average in the Akron lineup (.278), while notching a .333 slugging percentage and .286 on-base percentage … recorded the second-most hits on the team (40), tied for a team-high in doubles (8), scored third-most runs (20), drove in 10 RBI, and totaled 48 bases … in MAC play, tallied 17 hits, three doubles, two RBI, seven stolen bases, and five runs scored … when on the base path, stole 16 bases in 20 attempts … with runners on the bases, recorded a .339 average while also turning in a .353 average when hitting in the leadoff spot of an inning … when attempting to advance runners on the base path, posted a .531 batting average going 34-for-64 … garnered the second-most multi-hit performances (12) on the year, including a team-best 10 games with at least two hits … held a six-game hit streak (2/10-2/17) and went 9-for-22 (.409) with two doubles and scored six runs … in the MAC, ranked fifth overall in stolen bases … when roaming centerfield, recorded 82 putouts and five assists all without recording an error for a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage.
At Howard College: Won two consecutive WJCAA Conference Championships and WJCAA Regional Championships (2017-18) ... appeared in back-to-back NJCAA World Series and finished fifth overall in 2017 ... was named a WJCAA All-Conference selection in 2017 and 2018.
High School: Mitchiner, an outfielder from Martin Luther King High School, is a two-time letterwinner ... in her two seasons playing varsity softball, earned All-Big VII League and Academic All-Rivderside County honors (2015, 2016).
Personal: Daughter of Michael and Grudy Mitchiner ... has two sisters, Mallory (25) and Madison (18) ... Mallory played softball at the University of Saint Katherine and is currently an assistant coach, while Madison is on the current St. Katherine softball team.
