As a Junior (2011): Made five starts and eight total appearances in the circle, finishing with a 1-3 record and a 4.14 ERA … Threw one complete game and earned one save … Pitched 23.2 total innings, allowing 28 hits, 14 earned runs, and striking out seven … Also notched five assists in the field … Against Robert Morris (Apr. 12), threw all 5.0 innings in Akron’s 8-0 win, giving up just one hit and two walks in the victory.
As a Sophomore (2010): Started 16 games on the mound and made 21 total appearances ... Compiled a 6-12 record with a 3.91 ERA in 102 innings pitched ... Threw nine complete games ... Struck out 64 and walked 29 ... Pitched a one-hit shutout on March 5 against UNC Greensboro ... Named to the Dean's List.
As a Freshman (2009): Registered an impressive year on the mound in her inaugural season, pitching 228 innings and striking out 171 ... appeared in 41 games, pitching 25 complete contests … posted a 17-17 record holding a 2.58 ERA … had five shutouts … along with teammate Heather Bauer, posted the lowest combined ERA in the league (2.32) … was named to the Mid-American Conference All-Freshmen squad after her impressive season ... pitched 17 games with five or more strikeouts including a career-high 13 in Akron’s 5-2 win over St. Francis (April 28) … picked up her first win against Alabama State (Feb. 8) pitching a complete two hit contest giving up just one earned run striking out eight … against College of Charleston (Feb. 13) pitched a complete game striking out 10 allowing just one run in Akron’s victory (4-1) … threw a two-hit contest in Akron’s 5-2 win over Morehead State (March 24) … threw a 3-0 shutout over Ohio (May 2), allowing just two hits which earned her MAC Pitcher of the Week honors for the first time in her career … pitched a complete game in UA’s 1-0 Mid-American Conference tournament win over Western Michigan (May 8), striking out six, allowing just two hits and no earned runs … also registered 34 assists and seven putouts.
At Dalton High School: Helped lead her team to back-to-back Division IV State Championships her sophomore and junior year ... holds a 0.57 career ERA ... pitched the first perfect game in school history ... a four year letterwinner who was named first team All-Wayne County Athletic League four times ... named first team All-Ohio as a senior ... named first team All-Daily Record four times ... as a freshman was named the Gatorade Rookie of the Year ... her sophomore and junior year was named to the second team All-Northeast Ohio District ... in 2007 was also the ASA 18U state champ ... member of the National Honor Society.
