As a Junior (2014-15): Averaged a 563 in the Smallbore Half Course 3X20 for the year ... in the 60 Shot Air Rifle averaged a 570 on the year ... shot a season-high score of 570 in Smallbore Half Course 3X20 on three occasions...shot a personal best and season-high score of 579 in 60 Shot Air Rifle on two occasions... registered a season-high score in both air rifle (579) and Smallbore (570) at two different matches against Ohio State & North Carolina State (Nov. 11) and in the November WIRC Postal.
As a Sophomore (2013-14): Posted an average of 566 in smallbore on the season to tie for fourth on the team ... averaged 569 in air rifle ... fired a season-best score of 572 in smallbore on three occasions ... registered a season-high score in both air rifle (578) and smallbore (572) against Navy (Oct.6) in the first competition of the season ... posted strong scores of 572 in both smallbore and air rifle against West Virginia University (Nov. 3) to help the team post a program record combined smallbore score of 2288, which was later topped in a competition against Air Force (Feb. 7)(2289) ... tied five teammates with a team-high potential of 194 in the kneeling position ... finished in the Zips' top three at the NCAA Qualifier at Ohio State (Feb. 22) after firing a score of 569 in smallbore.
As a Freshman (2012-13): Named to first-team All-Mid Atlantic Conference (MAC) in smallbore, MAC All-Rookie team, second-team All-MAC in air rifle and second-team All-Western Intercollegiate Rifle Conference for smallbore…shot a personal best of 580 in smallbore at the Western Intercollegiate Rifle Conference Championship, the highest smallbore score posted by any team member on the season…had a personal best of 584 in air rifle against Murray…owned the highest smallbore average on the team at 574 and also recorded the highest air rifle average of 578.
Prior to Akron: Joined the Paul Bunyan Junior Rifle Club in Puyallup, Wash. in 2006 … won local matches in 2011 and 2012, winning an iron sights day of an outdoor prone championship with combined scores in 50 yards, 50 meters, and 100 yards at Tacoma Rifle and Revolver Club … earned first place in the Washington State Indoor Championships in 2011 with a score of 1150 out of 1200 … shot 796 out of 800 on outdoor prone targets in Wenatchee, Washington to earn a first place finish in 2012 … took first locally in a 3-P air section held in Seattle with a 591 of 600 in 2012 … participated in three Junior Olympics in Colorado Springs., Colo. … earned an 1157 of 1200 in smallbore in 2011 … finished 12th in smallbore and 22nd in air rifle in 2012 ... In 2011, finished 10th for the 3-P air rifle at the Junior Olympics in Port Clinton, Ohio, and then was fourth in the same match in Anniston, Ala. in 2012 … took seventh place in American Legion's 3-P air rifle competition at the US Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs in 2010 … finished second in the same match in 2012, along with winning in air rifle prone with a 799 of 800 … In 2010, was third in Intermediate Junior at NRA's Air Gun Championship and Training Summit … competed with Washington State's Air Rifle team at NRA's Air Gun Championship matches held in Camp Perry, Ohio, Albuquerque, N.M. and Anniston, Ala. from 2009-12 … team had three first place finishes and took third once.
Personal: A native of Graham, Wash. … volunteered as the junior rifle club's treasurer for two years and was part of Explorer Search and Rescue … tutored elementary school kids and volunteered as a counselor at Washington State Youth Conservation Camp from 2010 to 2012 … major is mathematics.
