as a Freshman (2008 Cross Country)
• Completed in all six team events, being Akron's top finisher in each of the team's first three meets
• Ran 21:04 to place second in his first collegiate meet, the Tommy Evans Invitational
• Placed 11th in his second collegiate meet, the Buffalo Stampede, with a time of 26.22.
• Completed the trifecta, placing 43rd at the prestigious Notre Dame Invitational (26:00)

Prior to Akron
• Personal records include 51.0 in the 400m, 2:00.0 in the 800m, 4:29.0 in the 1600m and 9:45.1 in the 3200m
• Three-time Academic All-Ohio and team cross country MVP at Shelby Senior High School
• Placed 18th at the 2007 Ohio state cross country meet as a senior
• Was a Northern Ohio League (NOL) cross country runner-up as a junior and placed third at the NOL meet as a sophomore
• Four-time All-NOL in cross country, including three first team honors. Four-time regional qualifier in cross country and three-time state qualifier
• Four-time, All-NOL, twice in the 1600m and 3200m each. Was the district 3200 champion in 2006
