as a Junior (2009): Haas posted a 3.58 GPA in Marketing Management, earning a spot on the second team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District IV, while being just the third Zip baseball player to be named Academic All-MAC squad twice in a career…Haas was the only Zip to play in all 52 games, leading the team in hits (73), runs (50) and doubles (16)…Haas batted .324 and ranked second on the team with 10 home runs (He entered 2009 with two career home runs in his first two years with the Zips)…His 10 home runs also ranks eighth on the UA single-season list…As the Zips shortstop, Haas had 167 assists, third-best on the UA single-season list and just two shy of the school record…He additionally had 225 at bats, second on the UA single-season list and one shy of the school record…Haas ranked seventh in the MAC in “toughest to strikeout,” going down just once every 8.3 at bats (27 strikeouts in 225 at bats)…He also drew 28 walks, third-best on the team, and led the squad with 24 multiple-hit games thanks to a 15-game hitting streak (Mar. 28-Apr. 22) in 2009…Went 4-for-6 against St. Bonaventure (Mar. 6) with a double and three runs scored...Had a career day against Toledo (Mar. 27), going 3-for-4 with a pair of homers, three RBIs and career-high three runs scored.
