"After 29 years of attending Zips football, basketball, and soccer – and now a season ticket holder in all three sports, I'm excited. Now is truly the time. The combination of those three winning programs (football will be soon) and thousands more students on or near campus will dramatically enhance the student experience and the sense of community. Go Zips!"

"ZIPS Athletics has influenced me to become a greater fan through my purchase of season seats for both football and basketball as well as my ongoing financial support through contributions to the Z Fund. The catalyst for my increased support is definitely due to The University of Akron's emphasis on an improved campus image through actual on-campus facilities.
This strategy has definitely increased UA student pride and support. Additionally, this on-campus emphasis has increased the pride and support of this community as well as the numerous communities in the Northeast Ohio region. This is evidenced by the diverse fan base one can witness at UA basketball games in the on-campus JAR. People from Cleveland to Akron to Canton to Carrollton and much more can be spotted all over the JAR at any given basketball game.
ZIPS Athletics has truly proven to demonstrate that The
University of Akron campus is the place to be. Keep steadfast on
this objective and we will see increased overall success in every
aspect of UA campus life. GO ZIPS!"
