As a Sophomore (2013): Named Academic All-MAC for a second-consecutive season ... named Akron's Howard "Red" Blair recipient at the team's leading scorer, as well as the Academic Award for the sophomore class ... finished the season 9-of-16 in field goal attempts, including a season-best 51-yard make against Ball State ... was 29-of-30 on extra points, setting the career consecutive extra points made mark (51) ... his lone miss came at Northern Illinois in which his third attempt of the day was blocked ... three of his nine made field goals were from 45 yards or longer ... four of his misses were from longer than 45 yards ... made five of his last six field goal attempts of the season.
As a Redshirt Freshman (2012): Academic All-MAC selection ... handled place-kicking duties in all 12 games ... converted 9-of-12 field goals and 38-of-39 point-after attempts ... closed out the season with a streak of eight-straight field goals made and 35-consecutive PATs converted ... nailed a then-career-long 46-yard field goal against Bowling Green and was also true on a 45-yard attempt at Tennessee ... named MAC East Division Player of the Week on Sept. 24 following his performance against the Vols ... five of his nine made field goals were from at least 37 yards away ... also kicked off 24 times for an average of 49.7 yards per kick ... earned the program's Howard "Red" Blair Award, given annually to the team's top scorer, after leading the squad in scoring with 65 points.

High School: Made 15-of-19 field goals and 51-of-54 extra points in his career at Sycamore HS ... also had 12 touchbacks on kickoffs ... earned second-team all-conference honors as a sophomore ... also lettered in soccer and hockey, recording six goals and seven assists as a senior for the SHS soccer team.
Personal: Born Dec. 14, 1992 ... son of Daniel and Debbie Stein ... has two brothers, Stephen and Jonathan ... Stephen was a kicker for Bowling Green ... mechanical engineering major.
