As a Senior (2015): Second-team All-MAC … Zips’ Student-Athlete of the Week (Sept. 21) … 2015 Rotary Lombardi Award Watch List … preseason first-team All-MAC by Athlon Sports, second-team by College Sports Madness, and third-team All-MAC by Phil Steele … team captain … started every game of his career at nose tackle (a school record 49 consecutive starts) … started all 13 games at nose tackle … one of 12 Zips to start every game … Akron’s Fantastic Four combined for a 92.9 rushing defense which ranked first in the MAC and No. 3 nationally … on the season, had 26 tackles, 5.5 TFL, 3.0 sacks, and 12-yard fumble recovery … also had 35 yards and four touchdowns on 22 carries offensively … in the win over Utah State in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, had two tackles, 1.5 sacks for a loss of 10 yards, and three rushes … had three tackles in the shutout of Kent State … in the win at Miami (Ohio), had a two-yard rushing touchdown, his fourth this season (eighth of his career) … in the win at UMass, had a solo tackle and an eight-yard sack ... had four tackles in the win at Eastern Michigan … in the MAC opener against Ohio, rushed just once for six yards, a career long … in the first three games, rushed six times for eight yards and three touchdowns ... in the win over Savannah State, rushed for five times for seven yards and career-high three touchdowns, all in the first half … also had two tackles, including a TFL … had a 12-yard fumble recovery in the win at Louisiana … against Pittsburgh, had two solo stops and rushed once for one yard in the third quarter … had three tackles at No. 19 Oklahoma.

As a Sophomore (2013): Started all 12 games a nose guard ... finished the season with 32 tackles (11 solo), a team-best 7.5 tackles for a loss, 2.5 sacks, one quarterback hurry, and one blocked kick ... named Akron's Harry "Doc" Smith Award winner for most outstanding sophomore on defense ... had a career day at Massachusetts, recording seven tackles (two solo), two tackles for a loss and one sack ... blocked his first-career kick on an extra point attempt against Toledo ... the blocked kick against the Rockets came in the fourth quarter, keeping the Akron lead at eight points and forcing UT to go for a two-point conversion late in the game ... recorded his first-career sack against James Madison ... posted at least one tackle in all 12 games.
As a Redshirt Freshman (2012): Switched from fullback to nose guard during the offseason ... started all 12 games ... totaled 47 tackles (25 solo) for the season ... responsible for 7.5 tackles for loss (21 yards) ... season-high nine stops (five solo) at Central Michigan ... made eight tackles (four solo) in the season opener against UCF ... given the team's Harry "Doc" Smith Award as most outstanding defensive player in the freshman class.
As a Freshman (2011): Redshirted.
High School: Four-year letterwinner at Firestone HS ... a three-time all-city performer who was also a second-team all-district selection and a member of the Touchdown Club his junior and senior season ... rushed for over 1,000 yards in both his junior and senior seasons and combined to score 29 touchdowns as an upperclassmen (15 TDs as a senior) ... added eight scores during his sophomore campaign ... also a stand-out on defense, recording 195 career tackles and 10 career sacks ... named Firestone's offensive MVP in his sophomore, junior and senior seasons ... also an all-city selection in track and field.
