ATHENS, Ohio -Â The Akron softball team fell 10-0 to the Ohio Bobcats in the series finale on Friday.
Meagan Lee led the Zips at the plate with a 2-for-3 performance. Haley Glass and Katie Cantrell both went 1-for-2, with the pair each hitting a double.
Macy Walters (12-10) started and took the loss in the circle for Akron (29-22, 19-5).
HOW IT HAPPENED
Akron managed one chance with runners on third in the shutout, going a total of 0-for-6 with runners in scoring position. The Zips last got a runner on third in the fifth, when Meagan Lee made it 60 feet away from scoring with one out.
GAME NOTES
