Hinchcliffe Named MAC Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio - University of Akron junior Sienna Hinchcliffe (Rochester, N.Y.) was honored for the second straight week by the Mid-American Conference as its Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday (April 21).

Hinchcliffe continued her stellar run of play sparking the Zips to a 16-7 victory over Youngstown State recording a game-high six goals and five assists on the strength of a career-high 15 shots, including 11 on goal, while adding three draw controls.

It marked her third league contest earning six or more goals and four or more assists this season, tops in the MAC.

She has now posted 10 or more shots and four goals or more in five straight games, including four consecutive league tilts. She averages 5.2 goals and 10.8 shots per contest in six league games.

The Zips close out the regular season campaign visiting Central Michigan for a noon tilt on Saturday (April 25).
