MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. - The University of Akron women's soccer team played Robert Morris to a 0-0 draw on Thursday (Sept. 5).
The Zips extended their unbeaten streak to open the season to five with the tie.
How it Happened
Led by a pair of shots from sophomore Olivia Heskett (Lewis Center, Ohio) Akron recorded five shots in the scoreless tie, three of them on goal. The Zips faced nine Robert Morris shots, three of them on goal.
Akron redshirt junior GK Penelope Cuirinier (Mionnay, France) led Akron with two saves en route to collecting the clean sheet.

- Cuirinier recorded two saves for the Zips out of nine total Colonials shots.
