Tiffany Stevens Signs Pro Contract to Play for Coastal Bend Tidal Wave

AKRON, Ohio – Former University of Softball player Tiffany Stevens has officially signed a contract with the Coastal Bend Tidal Wave of Women's Professional Fastpitch.

In 2024, Stevens anchored the outfield for all 52 games for the Zips. She recorded 31 hits in 142 at-bats for a .218 batting average. She registered seven extra-base hits with five doubles and a pair of homeruns en route to 14 RBI. Stevens owned a .309 on-base percentage with 16 walks and touched 42 total bases, scoring 12 runs while stealing 6-of-6 bags.

The four-time Academic All-MAC recipient, played in 219 games with 213 starts for Akron throughout her five-year career. She owned a .237 career batting average and posted a career-best .315 average in the shortened 2020 season. In 577 at-bats, she unleashed 137 hits with 28 doubles, six homeruns and three triples while generating 76 RBI. In the field, She posted a career .970 fielding percentage with 376 put-outs while only committing 12 errors in 434 chances.
