UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – University of Akron senior Davis Patterson (Evanston, Ill.) registered a career-best clearance of 15-5 (4.70m) in the men's pole vault to headline the Zips' efforts at the Jim Thorpe Invitational hosted by Penn State on Friday (May 3).
