LEXINGTON, Ky. – University of Akron redshirt senior Brook Boes (Tiffin, Ohio) registered a throw of 158-0 (48.17m) in the women's discus to conclude the efforts of the Zips at the NCAA East Preliminary Round on Saturday (May 30).

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• Boes capped her stellar Akron career in the women's discus with a mark of 158-0 (48.17m)

UP NEXT:
Redshirt freshman Mercy Jebitok (Kapsabet, Kenya) will represent Akron in the women's 10,000 meters at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Eugene, Ore., on June 11.
