Zips Fall to Bowling Green to Begin Series - Sprockett Collects 3 Hits

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -The Akron Zips got a boost from Michael Sprockett, who totaled three hits in a 10-1 loss to the Bowling Green Falcons on Friday.
In addition to his three hits, Sprockett had a double and a RBI to lead the Zips. Austin Lafferty compiled a 1-for-1 day with a double. Evan Bottone also chipped in for Akron, putting together two hits in four trips to the plate.

Akron got on the board thanks to Sprockett's RBI double in the ninth.Â
