Baseball Announces 2025 Schedule

AKRON, Ohio - The Akron baseball team announced its 2025 schedule, which features a pair of games at Canal Park.
Akron is scheduled to play 54 games in 2025.
The Zips begin the season with 12 games away from Skeeles Field. The Blue and Gold begin the 2025 campaign with a three-game series at Radford (Feb. 14-16) before traveling to Bellarmine for a single game (Feb. 19). Akron then travels to UT-Martin for four games (Feb 21-23) and heads to Holly Springs, N.C., to battle Purdue (Feb. 28-Mar. 2) to close out the road swing.
Akron then begins an eight-game home stand where it battles Oakland (Mar. 4), Eastern Michigan (Mar. 7-9) for the conference opening series, Dayton (Mar. 11) and Bowling Green (Mar. 14-16).
The Zips then hit the road for five games with trips to Pittsburgh (Mar. 18), Western Michigan (Mar. 21-23) and Oakland (Mar. 25) before hosting Ball State (Mar. 28-30).
After hosting the Cardinals, Akron begins a five-game road swing with trips to Dayton (Apr. 1), Toledo (Apr. 4-6) and Michigan (Apr. 8) before returning to Skeeles Field top host Central Michigan (Apr. 11-13).
The Blue and Gold then depart Akron for seven games with trips to Northern Illinois (Apr. 17-19), Ohio State (Apr. 22) and Kent State (Apr. 25-27) before beginning a four-game home stand with Pittsburgh (Apr. 29) at Canal Park and Ohio (May 2-4) at Skeeles Field.
Akron travels to Miami (OH) (May 9-11) before concluding the regular season at home with Youngstown State (May 13) at Canal Park and Mercyhurst (May 15-17) at Skeeles Field.
