NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, N.Y. - A goal in the 71st minute from sophomore Emma King (Akron, Ohio) lifted the University of Akron women's soccer team to a 1-0 shutout victory past Niagara on Thursday (Sept. 14).
Akron broke open a scoreless contest in the second half when King recorded her second goal of the season in the 71st minute.
