AKRON, Ohio -Â The University of Akron lacrosse team travels to Loretto, Pa., this Friday, March 3, for a 1 p.m. showdown at Saint Francis (Pa.).
SCOUTING AKRON:
Senior Alexis Kiefer (West Chicago, Ill.) and junior Noelle Boyd (Murrysville, Pa.), who have posted 22 and 17 shots, respectively, headline Akron's offensive efforts this season. Boyd, Kiefer and senior Kaija Kunttu (Zionsville, Ind.), have recorded a team-high 10, seven and six goals, respectively, while Kiefer has registered team-best marks in goals (10), points (10), shots (22), shots on goal (20) and draw controls (19), while ranking second in caused turnovers (2). Freshman GK Kylan Rhude (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) and sophomore GK Hannah Sanders (Massillon, Ohio) have combined to turn in 23 saves for Akron on the year.

Kiefer rated third in the MAC in draw controls per outing (6.33), fourth in shots per tilt (7.33) and goals per game (3.33) and sixth in points per contest (3.33). Boyd ranks fifth in shots per tilt (5.67), sixth in goals per game (2.33) and seventh in points per contest (3.00), while Kunttu is seventh in goals per game (3.00).

Additionally, sophomore Kylie Harris (Lake Norman, N.C.) is sixth in draw controls per game (3.67) and senior Jenna Ridener (Cincinnati, Ohio) is eighth in caused turnovers per contest (1.33). Rhude is first in goals against average (6.36) and save percentage (.591) and sixth in saves per game (6.50).

SCOUTING SAINT FRANCIS:
Akron is squaring off against Saint Francis for the fourth in program history. The Red Flash own a 1-1 record on the campaign following a 15-5 setback at Lehigh on Saturday, Feb. 25. Autumn Mchenry directs the Saint Francis offensive attack with team-high marks in goals (6), points (8), shots (14) and shots on goal (11) while ranking second in assists (2) and draw controls (4). Goalkeeper Elyssa Enrique has collected 18 saves on the campaign for the Red Flash. Saint Francis is led by fourth-year head coach Tracy Coyne, who owns a 13-25 ledger as a head coach for the Red Flash and is 305-217 in 34 overall campaigns as a head coach
